SANDBANKS PROVINCIAL PARK

Sandbanks Provincial Park is a popular destination located in Prince Edward County and is home to one of the largest freshwater sand dune systems in the world. The park is renowned for its stunning beaches, with over 10 km of pristine sand and crystal-clear water, making it a popular spot for swimming, boating, and fishing. There are over 500 campsites, including the Outlet River and Woodlands campsites, that are just a short walk away from the beach. Visitors can enjoy hiking, cycling, and birdwatching on the park’s trails, which wind through sand dunes, wetlands, and forests. The park is also home to a variety of wildlife, including foxes, raccoons, and more than 300 bird species.

 

LONG POINT PROVINCIAL PARK

The park has several campsites, including the Cedar, Turtle Dunes, and Cottonwood campsites, that offer direct access to the beach. The park has several campsites, including the Beach Area 1 and Riverbend campsites, that offer direct access to the beach. There are several campgrounds in the area, including the Sauble Falls Tent & Trailer Park and Woodland Park, that offer camping options just a short distance from the beach. Hit the main Street which is filled with restaurants, shops and attractions. Play a casual came of mini-put at Putterama or try out the ropes course, climbing wall, axe throwing and more at Ascent Aerial Park.
