Family Day Long long weekend kicks off tomorrow! If you are in the Toronto area here is a list of activities to check out!

SKATING AT THE BENTWAY

Visit the Bentway for family-friendly activities including a free workshop decorating your own skate boot covers, interactive scavenger hunt, Winter Market and visit the Après Skate Village for free treats! Feb. 19th is also the last chance to see the stunning, northern lights-inspired art installation! Skate rentals available.

APRES SKI AT THE DISTILLERY DISTRICT

The Distillery District’s has been transformed into an outdoor winter lounge with fire pits, Muskoka chairs, food trucks, drink stands and a DJ on Saturday! All weekend including Monday 1:00 – 7:00 p.m. Fire pits are first-come, first-served.

KIDS FEST TO

Kids Fest TO takes over Mississauga’s International Centre (6900 Airport Rd.) beginning Saturday Feb 17th. The event features an amusement park filled with inflatables, slides, bouncy castles, obstacle courses, and interactive games. There will also be live entertainment, a petting zoo, PAW Patrol Meet & Greet, face painting,arcade games and so much more!

TORONTO ZOO WILD ENOUNTER

Make this Family Day extraordinary with an exclusive Wild Encounter! This special experience offers a rare opportunity to do something different from your typical zoo day, getting up close and personal with your favourite animals.

JURASSIC WORLD – 50% OFF

Get closer to dinosaurs than every before at Jurassic World – The Exhibition in Missisuaga. The Exhibition immerses audiences of all ages in scenes inspired by the beloved film. FREE ADMISSION TO THE ROM

In celebration of Family Day, on Monday, February 19th the entire Royal Ontario Museum—including all exhibitions—will be free for everyone! (No tickets required.) Activities are all ages and run from 11 am – 4 pm. Come face to face with Zuul, the gnarly-faced, horned armoured dinosaur with a sledgehammer-like tail in this ROM original exhibition. Sing, dance, and jam about Earth with Chris McKhool, the award-winning children’s entertainer. Discover the world of chemistry through fun experiments and interactive Workshops and so much more!
