NORTH AMERICA'S SMALLEST JAILHOUSE
The Tweed Jail was built starting in 1898 and opened two years later at a cost of $350. The jail measures only 4.8 metres wide by 6 metres deep and closed in 1950. It was later taken over by the Ontario Provincial Police for use as a community station. The old jail can be found at 61 Victoria Street North and now serves as the local tourist bureau office. Come and visit North America's Smallest Jailhouse.

VANDERWATER CONSERVATION
A picturesque spot on the banks of the Moira River to hike or picnic. The park spans a vast 636 acres, and 15km of winding trails of coniferous, hardwood, and mature cedar forests. Beautiful rapids flow down the river and visitors can walk out onto the unique cracked limestones.
