The Pride of Canada Carousel located in Downtown Markham, created by Canadian artists Patrick Amiot & Brigitte Laurent, features 44 uniquely Canadian (and rideable!) sculptures lovingly crafted from recycled objects. Over 30,000 visitors have hopped aboard this one-of-a-kind attraction!

Birthday Party Bookings:
The Pride of Canada Carousel offers two-hour bookings on Saturdays and Sundays for Birthday Parties, Baby Showers, Engagement Parties or whatever you wish!
Each booking includes:
- Access 1 hour prior to your event for party set-up and 30 minutes following for wind down and clean up
- Access to the ride for the full two hours

Please note that as a community destination, we do remain open to the public. These parties are not private events. We offer time slots of either 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 3 to 5 p.m. Each booking requires a PayPal deposit to secure the space for your event with the balance due on the day of the event. The carousel may also be available for photo and video shoots, corporate and other special events during off-peak hours.

Conveniently located along a VIVA Rapidway and housed in a beautiful open glass pavilion at 8080 Birchmount Road, the carousel is open year-round* and features a free public outdoor skating rink.
