  •  Add to Calendar 2024-10-15 2024-11-02 America/Toronto Art in Motion ART IN MOTION is a first-of-its-kind Kinetic and Visual Art Exhibition featuring the Kinetic (moving) artworks of the artist Guy Beckles combined with the illustrative representations from several local artists that are creating amazing contributions to the art scene in Toronto, Halifax and internationally. This exhibition will be held at the Withrow Common Gallery in Toronto from October 15th to November 2nd, 2024.The goal of this presentation is to underline the importance of representation by multicultural, and Indigenous artists in Canada, while showcasing the dynamic work being done by these individuals in the visual and fine arts arena. The event plans to be an interactive exhibition, primarily utilizing selected artists to mentor the conversation on the positioning of multicultural history and art within the Canadian cultural landscape.Patrons will have the opportunity to see the uniqueness of Kinetic art, and multidisciplinary artists working in most mediums. A small part of the exhibit will highlight exposure to the tattoo artform by a local Toronto Tattoo shop, Atlas Ink., providing a unique experience of the artistry, creativity, and culture associated with this artform.
