Description
Learn about the Indigenous origins of the maple harvest, experience the process of making maple syrup, indulge in pancakes with real maple syrup, and enjoy crafts, games and guided tours of the site.
Please note: This is a paid event and tickets can be purchased online. This event will be held rain or shine.
Activities available
- Pancakes with real maple syrup
- Outdoor guided tours of the maple sap line with Museum interpreters
- Visit the historic Bradley House, where Museum interpreters will re-enact the seasonal activities of the Bradley Family
- Learn about Indigenous seasonal food traditions from Elder Mark Sault of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (March 8 and 9 only)
- Crafts and games
- Gift shop at the Anchorage Gallery, with maple syrup and treats by Canadian producers
Free shuttle service available from Clarkson GO Station
- Pick-ups will occur from the south parking lot of Clarkson GO Station, near the entrance to the parking garage.
- The shuttle drop-off location at Bradley Museum is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible.
